Steps to Certification Further Enhances the Safety of Employees and the Environment.

/24-7PressRelease/ - ALBION, MI, October 03, 2007 - The Polyurethane Manufacturers Association's (PMA) recently announced that Reaction Industries has completed Level III/Leadership of the organization's self certification program. The PMA's self certification program was developed to help members demonstrate their compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements. The program is related to and overlaps with federal and state programs and policies which also encourage voluntary compliance with, and direction to exceed, environmental and/or health and safety requirements.

Reaction Industries, LLC provides polyurethane wheel manufacturing for its parent, Caster Concepts, Inc. The open casting of polyurethane wheels utilizes a computer controlled, state-of-the-art meter mixing machines that bring multiple components to the pouring head at a pre-determined ratio and mixes them at high rpms before pouring the material into precision machined steel molds. Reaction Industries also has significant capabilities to batch pour polyurethane products along with prototype mold making and single part production.

Caster Concepts, Inc., (CCI) an ISO 9001-2000 certified designer and manufacturer of a comprehensive line of industrial casters, ranging from medium- to heavy-duty series to meet any application. CCI also manufactures caster wheels to withstand impact, corrosion, temperature extremes and chemicals found in harsh industrial environments. These multi-functional casters and wheels serve a variety of applications in the industrial, automotive, food service, aerospace, material handling and other demanding markets. With this certification Reaction Industries/Caster Concepts, Inc becomes the first industrial caster company to achieve this level of certification.
