Michelle Jacobs is Lifecycle Program Engine Manager at General Motors

DETROIT, MI, May 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle Jacobs, Lifecycle Program Engine Manager at General Motors, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of program development.

With 26 years of experience in her field, Ms. Jacobs is an expert in engine program management. On a daily basis, she is responsible for overseeing various engine programs, removing roadblocks on different issues, coordinating programs, ensuring programs are launched on time and testing. Her father was also an employee of General Motors and she attributes her success to her motivation, good work ethic and her ability to work independently.

Ms. Jacobs received her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Michigan in 1999. In 2006 and 2007, she was honored with the Recognition Award for Exceptional Project Leadership for the launching of an engineering program and is the 2004 recipient of the First Production Emissions Vehicle Program Award for on-time execution of this project from General Motors. In 1999, she was a Chairman's Honors Award nominee for her work on the 3800 ULEV engine program. She hopes to pursue her MBA and attain a position in management.
