R.A. Phillips Industries, Inc. to Expand its Saltillo, Mexico Operations
A leading supplier of heavy duty truck and trailer components for the transportation industry increases its capacity to serve worldwide markets.


TUCSON, AZ, February 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Santa Fe Springs, California - based R.A. Phillips Industries will soon expand its manufacturing capabilities in Saltillo, Mexico.

The company has signed an agreement with the Tucson, Arizona headquartered Offshore Group to expand the leased space at the La Angostura Industrial Park from its current 35,000 to 70,000 square feet. Currently, the company employs 122 direct and indirect laborers. A doubling of production capacity will eventually result in a proportionate increase in workforce.

According to the company's Director of Worldwide Operations, Rob Phillips,"The decision to double our operations in Mexico was fueled by solid growth in the North American and Latin American transportation industries, coupled with the operational successes we've experienced in Saltillo."
